The club has the following equipment available for members to borrow.

• 4 x top rope kits (each kit contains 1 x 60ltr blue rope bag, 1 x 50m static, 1 x 60m dynamic, 4 x screwgate crabs, 2 x 120cm slings, 1 x rope protector)

• 4 x 50m abseil kits (each kit contains 1 x 40ltr yellow rope bag, 1 x 50m static rope, 4 x screwgare crabs, 2 x 120cm slings, 1 x rope protector)

• 7 x Via Ferrata sets

• 1 x 2 person bothy tent​

• 2 x Clip Stick

• 2 x Walking Axes

• Ice screw sharpener

• 4 x pairs of crampons

• Walkie Talkies

• Edelrid Ohm

• 1 x 4-person emergency bothy tent

• 1 x large campsite shelter

• 3 x individual rope protectors

• 1 x SDMC club flag (small)

Please note that this equipment is used at your own risk. It is your responsibility to:

• know how to use the equipment safely.

• check that any equipment is safe to use and in good condition when you receive it. 

• check that the equipment is returned in good condition.

​You must fill out a Club Kit Loan Form when you loan any item of equipment. This is necessary to comply with the club’s public liability insurance. The form must be filled out every time that a piece of equipment changes hands, including when passing from one member to another.
