Dolomites
-
Having
had another wonderful two weeks in the Dolomites this
year, I am planning a club trip next year.
We will go w/e 27/28th June and return w/e 11/12th
July. By then much of the snow has gone, the lifts are
mainly open, and the crowds have not yet arrived. I
feel I now have quite a lot of knowledge of the area, and
so can be helpful.
I
will aim at coming to a pub evening in the Autumn, to show
slides etc and discuss possibilities. We will hire car(s),
and camp/use refuges/ bivis for accommodation. It can
be a holiday for climbers, walkers, and Via Ferrata
fans.Flying is unfortunately still by far the cheapest way
of getting there. With
Good Wishes, Karenza-Monica |
