When and Where!
The SDMC meet locally on a regular bases throughout the year with the
second Wednesday of the month being the official 'club night' where we are
generally out and about but then meet in the Riverside Inn, Bovey Tracey
in the summer and the Sportsman's Arms, Ivybridge in the winter.

CLIMBING
The Outdoor climbing meets are now in full swing - check
the rota below to see were we are likely to be.
Generally it is good to turn up with some one because
there is no guarantee that members will be there and as
always the weather has the final say.

WALKING
Walks on first and Third Sunday of month Biking/
Canoeing/ Other
activities/ social on others meets have been planned, the walking
co-ordinator is relying on members to volunteer to run one of
these days. It is planned that these walks
will go ahead (even if it’s the organiser alone!). So you can
just turn up at venue.

PLANNED TRIPS
In addition to the regular meets the club arranges hut trips
throughout the UK and abroad and these attract a wide range of
members depending on the location and activity. These
trips rely on the enthusiasm and willingness of the members to
identify and plan a trip and make it open to other members,
remember that if there is interest in a trip and the booking of
a hut is required the club will pay for this to secure the
places and bank roll the funds.
